Vielen Dank für diese tollen Fotos. Auch in der Schweiz sah man in den 70er- und 80er Jahren eine ganze Menge Krolls. Was läuft eigentlich heute mit diesem Unternehmen? Exisitieren tut es ja immer noch.

The company Krøll started in 1950's by building cranes under Linden's license in Denmark. This agreement ceased in 1961 and Krøll started to cranes of their own design. In 1970's, they entered a market of giant cranes. The most notable product is K-10000 tower crane. The business case behind the giants was nuclear power: Building the power plants needs huge cranes. However, the incidents in Chernobyl and Three-Mile-Island more or less stopped building new nuclear power plants globally, and that ruined the business case of Krøll Cranes A/S.

The company still is living and based in Denmark. It owned by Muhibbah Engineering group, of Malaysia. The company's main market currently is Asia. The market share in Europe is minimal.
