Moving a 1,200 Tonnes Transformer

ALE Worldwide Heavy Transportation and Lifting, using 2 x Scheuerle SPMT units, with 350Kw - 476HP Power Pack Unit, too move a 1,200 tonnes offshore wind farm substation, in the background you can see the 1,100 tonnes jacket that is going too carry the substation out at sea.

The transformer substation is build at Bladt Industries, Aalborg in Denmark and is going too be used, at the Dong Energy Walney 2 offshore wind farm in Great Britain.

that looks pretty much like these documentary films that are airing on tv all the time it's incredible how much you can lift with these vehicles. even with small cranes, if you lift 3t its easy for the crane but once you try to move the material yourself you realize it's true weight...
