Habe gesagt vielleicht desswegen und das es doch der selbe Krantyp ist.....
Vielleicht weis jemad da mehr, der Kran auf dem Lagerplatz ist doch der gleiche od??? Aber dort steht H40/40 bei dem in Basel K30/30??? Haben die nur eine flasche Traglasttafel hingehängt od was ist da anders?

Hello Tinu,

Well, let's remember the meaning of the code letter and number for these types of Potain cranes :

Letters are for the jib length :

D for 40 meter
E for 45 meter
F for 50 meter
G for 55 meter
H for 60 meter
J for 65 meter
K for 70 meter

Numbers :

- the first part is for the maximal power. Number x 4, so for example 2 = 2 x 4 = 8 ton ; 4 = 4 x 4 = 16 t. Numbers like 25 or 30 must be understood as 2,5 and 3, so 25 = 2,5 x 4 = 10 tom and 30 = 3 x 4 = 12 t. The first part number is DM (Double Mouflage).

- The second part is for the power at the maximal jib length. For example 23 = 2,3 t ; 40 = 4 t This second part number is SM (Simple Mouflage)

So a H 30 30 and a K 30 30 are both 12 ton max power models, but the 3 ton power is at 60 meter for the H model and at 70 meter for the K model. Nevertheless the H 30 30 has a very different aspect from the H3, H4, H5, K30, K 40, K3, K4 and K5 models (first versions of K series)


But it is rather hard to distinguish some H3 or H4 from K series when these cranes have not their maximal jib length. And sometimes it may be a wrong panel attached to the mast... I once saw a "Potain H 30 23" panel on a "BPR 431"

Der zweite steht noch, wird wohl aber auch bald demontiert.
