First it was supposed to be bottom slewing like kroll k-10000. then , the project was modified , the crane beeing top slewing. The tower mast is 10X10m.Below is a picture with a kroll k-25000 model. Dimensions are not very accurate-I measured the model with Autocad program. Zitieren

I only can guess about the total mass which has to be moved and the necessary precision therefor, why they had to abandon the genuine idea of making a bottom slewing crane ( like the 10000 ) on drafting the K25000.Still, to be honest, this is the thirst picture of this crane, that I see.Do you have more ? In a cranes today magazine issue is said new k-25000 is top slewing because of progress in steel technology. I can say you more because I am not an expert in technology. Thirst= first or third? I have more only one drawing of this crane. If you give me a mail adress I ll sent it to you. Zitieren
