S 46 0 Geschrieben 24. November 2009 Geschrieben 24. November 2009 The Kroll engineers seem to love to strenghten their towersystems in every possible aspect...Remind`s me of Weitz cranes, these look alike. So, the base was set, and I started to draw the different versions, which are known to me.First is the K 1400 in Version "TC2", which I think was fabricated for a shipyard... But I might be wrong here.If anyone knows better, please correct me.Further: Note, that the loading figures of TC2 stay from 0m to nearly 50m constant (!) at 30 tons !!Only on the last 5 meters they are giving in to 26,6 tons. That is simply amazing !! I think that`s why Kroll had to design their Main Jib`s in the way they look. Massiv. Big.And when you look closer, inbetween the models of the Maxilift Range, these jib`s do not alter much.A successful principle, that needs no changes.Anyway, here`s the "TC2".Kroll_K_1400_TC2_Version.PDF Kroll_K_1400_TC2_Version.PDF Zitieren
S 46 0 Geschrieben 24. November 2009 Geschrieben 24. November 2009 Next version is the "TC4", the famous Macau Casino cranes.Longer jib, same principles....There are several photos of`em on the internet...orange cranes...cool.Kroll_K_1400_TC4_Version.PDFAll measurements proved to be OK now, despite, that on some " official " looking documents from the web, there are other indications. But some of these are obviously wrong. For ex. the distance between upper main jib and the hook is definitly not 15 meters, so this crane also will not be 80 meters high... and so on.But this keeps you thinking. S 46 0 Geschrieben 24. November 2009 Geschrieben 24. November 2009 Then:Here is the K 1400, according to kroll`s own "maximum" specifications.Jib 80 meters, HuH 72m, and a loading capacity of 30 - 16,4 tons at 80meters. Not bad !!Kroll_K_1400_Maxi_Version.PDF Kroll_K_1400_Maxi_Version.PDF Zitieren
S 46 0 Geschrieben 24. November 2009 Geschrieben 24. November 2009 But the crane also can go much higher... According to Rodson and a few pictures as proof.@djlivus: But the K 1400 is then not railgoing anymore...Anyway: Freestanding, at a total height of 114 meters, is remarkable.Kroll_K_1400_USA_Version.PDF Kroll_K_1400_USA_Version.PDF Zitieren
S 46 0 Geschrieben 24. November 2009 Geschrieben 24. November 2009 You might have expected it.I couldn`t avoid it.I have my fun doing this, believe me.Kroll_K_1400_Maxi_Version_71_EC_B5nm.PDF( I had to switch out the measurements, in order to keep the 200K... sad ) Kroll_K_1400_Maxi_Version_71_EC_B5nm.PDF Zitieren
