Found at Dunkerque`s Harbour.
Until now, K 800`s figures read: 30 tons until at least 9 tons.

Now. Let`s pump that up to 50 tons until 13,8 tons @60meters.
What has to be changed constructionwise to achieve this ?

a.) strenghten the tower - system
b.) lenghten the counterjib.

So, let`s move back to the maxi version then.
I soon had to discover, that, although this is already a really huge crane, kroll`s engineers had decided to put another, bigger crane ontop the K 25000. And they had reason to do so. Why? Wait and see.
I leave you tonight with a drawing, which I did, having in mind one of the MOD`s of this forum.

...this means the early version of the K-10000 was a top slewing crane?

why the hell did they change that to bottom slewing? this is really strange
