...and again...
one of the biggest, when it comes to load, weight and height...
not a necessarily a masterpiece of design, but a masterpiece of ingenuity at that time...
The Kroll K 10000 in russian version, drawn to scale.
There seem to have been several changes in the manufacturing phase of this giant....
( Didn`t notice the cab, but the jib and climbing mechanisms...)

Does anybody know the whole story, or parts of it ?

Liebherr-Werk Biberach GmbH has recently delivered a brand new 1250 HC 50 Litronic large crane to the shipyard operated by Astilleros Gondán, S.A. of Castropol (Asturia).


The order for the delivery and assembly of the crane was carried out jointly with the Spanish affiliate Liebherr Industrias Metálicas S.A.

This large crane, with a load moment of 1250 metre-tonnes, will be used to place large prefabricated ship components weighing up to 50 tonnes. The maximum load capacity of the 1250 HC, which is usually designed for 40 tonnes, has been increased to 50 tonnes due to specific customers requirements.
