Maybe the greatest Potain ever- this 1000MD Potain...It was made in the early 80s and had a height under hook of 136.7 meters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rail-going.....
Total height-155m. Total weight -700 tonnes!
Base is 16x20meters. Tower square is 5.5 x5.5 m . Maximum load-64 tonnes. Jib lenght-80 m.
This crane is as big as Linden8952, but mobile!!!!!! The swedish crane has a maximum height of 139m under hook , but its overall height is only 148 meters, this Potain is 155! Also the maximum load and boom lenght have larger values for the french tower crane.
Amidst mobile towers , only a version of potain md-1400 has a slightly taller height under hook -137.4m, but this crane is much lighter- it uses a tower mast of 5.5 x5.5 only for the first 60 meters, then it is 4x4m and this tower combination affects badly the crane aestetics. (I saw a picture of such a 1400md potain with this tower combination ) Instead, the normal md-1400 with 4x4 m tower and 107m under hook-I mean the old crane from 1986- is an extremely beautifull crane- you can see it on www. kran-info.ch

Liebherr 3150 HC from Verdal Norway. As a peculliarity of old liebherr HC cranes , on request the height under hook could overtake the maximum normal height under hook. This liebherr has a HUH of about 107 m and total height of 128,5m Weight-830 tonnes.
