It's a shipyard............why should there be a climbing procedure??????? He will not change hight when building ships.Normally those cranes have a special tower which has nothing to do with the version for buildings in the city.

OK, its true, but how is in the city?
As much as I can see there is some lifting device on the tower head (like some Pignon cranes for lifting & removing tower sections), but how does telescoping device look?

as far as I remember, the climbing is with internal telescoping, the mast sections are wrapped around the slewing part just like in older Weitz 1266 or 1289. But in this case there seem to be no devices for telescoping. No need for that. But the crane is quite massive. Climbing up those external ladders certainly require head for heights.

Does someone of the experts know what is inside upper tower section?
