the Richier-Weitz is a GT1290, a 6-tons configuration.
Probably you can take pictures of the 1289 you mentioned in your mail.

ok. 1289 and 1290 look exactly the same. The difference is only 1 in type number
anyway, trying to get some pics of 1289...

Occurred in my mind: this 1290 is with 6 tons configuration using 2 fall hook. 1289 has 4 tons capacity with 2 fall hook, 8 tons with 4 fall hook. Conclusion (?):

- 1289 SM = 4 tons, DM = 8 tons
- 1290 SM = 6 tons, DM = 12 tons

(SM comes from French "Simple Mouflage" = 2 fall
DM = Double Mouflage = 4 fall)

Hallo Erkkil,

Yes,I made a mistake! My finger was a little bit faster than my mind.
But, there were (are?) special S-types of these 1290-cranes,which could lift maximum 12 tons.
So,in 2-fall this crane could lift 6 tons.
