Famabud crane

Some basic data on the Famabud ZB-45:

track gauge/truck distance: 3,8 m
structural weight max. (without ballast): 24 160 kg
counterweight: 13 000 kg

The jib can operate in horizontal position with the trolley moving, in this case the crane can hoist 2,25 tons everywhere, no matter, what the trolleys position is. Furthermore it is possible to fix the trolley at the end of the jib and use it as a luffing jib crane (but the jib could be set only without load) up to 64°. Thats why You find the "arch" on the crane.
The tower can consist of 3 pr 4 sections (on Your photos it's the lower variant), and the jib can consist of 2 or 3 sections (Your crane had 2 sections on the pictures).

Main parameters:

- Horizontal jib (trolley mode):
Height under Hook: 20 m (3 tower sections) or 26 m (4 sections)
Max. reach: 14 m (2 jib sections) or 20 m (3 sections)
Lifting capacity: 2,25 tons

- Elevated jib:
Height under Hook:
- 3 tower, 2 jib sections: 20 - 31,5 m
- 3 tower, 3 jib sections: 20 - 37,5 m
- 4 tower, 2 jib sections: 26 - 37,5 m
- 4 tower, 3 jib sections: 26 - 43,5 m
Max. reach:
- 2 jib sections: 7,5 - 14 m
- 3 jib sections: 10 - 20 m
Lifting capacity:
- 2-fall rope: up to 4,5 tons
- 3-fall rope: up to 6 tons

This configuration (3-fall rope) was only allowed with elevated jib and only 3 tower- and 2 jib sections - just like on one of Your pictures.
