Richier GT 1194

This Richier 1194 came directly from Richier/BPR works in France to Tampere, Naistenlahti power plant building site. The crane was telescoped (with itse "coulisseau" system) to 42 m height in June 1976. This crane was later sold to Turku, where it is still working as a factory yard crane.

Most Richiers of this series in Finland were of types 1174 and 1184, which were manufactured in Finland with a license from Richier. The manufacturer was Wärtsilä Kotka works, located in the south coast of Finland, about 60 kms from the Russian (Soviet Union on those days) border.
